While together for their shared "Moontime" or monthly gatherings women weave fabrics, baskets, and stories. All are passed on. They work while discussing and deciding the issues their families are facing including politics, laws, and traditions. The baskets and clothing are then given at weddings, births, birthdays, and deaths in the belief the wisdom and blessings of those women were passed on.
